Maddie has started gymnastics!  It seems terribly normal of us to be doing this. I remember when I started gymnastics at Compart Gymnastics Center when I was about her age.  The uniforms for us novice kids were orange and they had a blue stripe.  Maddie’s uniform has much better colors… red with black and white stripes.  In the end, I didn’t like gymnastics very much…. everytime I did a somersault, I got a headache.  And the balance beam was way too high.  After Maddie’s first day, what did she say?  Oh I remember…”Mommy!  The balance beam is soooooo cool!”
